There are roughly two types of microphones on the market, namely wired and wireless. Wired microphones are divided into two types: moving coil and condenser. The dynamic microphone is the mainstream product in the market. It has a simple structure, easy to use, low price and long life. Most of it has a proximity effect function, which is very suitable for karaoke. It is enough for ordinary families to choose this kind of product. Condenser microphones have low noise, low distortion and high sensitivity, making them more suitable for professional singing.
The range of the wireless microphone can reach tens or even hundreds of meters. It has the characteristics of low noise, stable frequency and low power consumption when it is turned on. It is easy to move and the price is higher than that of wired microphones of the same grade.
The choice of microphone mainly starts from three aspects.
First of all, the frequency response should be around 150Hz～10KHz, this range basically includes human voice and general musical instrument sound;
Secondly, the sensitivity should not be too high. Too high sensitivity is likely to cause howling or loud and small sounds, and it is easy to damage the speakers, so the sensitivity should be stable;
Third, there are high and low impedance. High-impedance microphones have high sensitivity and are susceptible to external signal interference. Therefore, ordinary families should choose low-impedance tens to hundreds of ohms.
